The T6 team participated in the recent LOCALISED project meeting held in Milan from 3 to 6 March, providing insightful contributions that underscored its commitment to the project’s success. The team’s primary focus was on showcasing achievements and future plans in three core areas: communication activities, impact assessment, and exploitation strategies.
Communication and Dissemination: Building a Strong LOCALISED Presence
Guided by Katja Firus and Sara Dorato, the T6 team provided a comprehensive overview of the communication activities undertaken so far. From the ongoing management of the LOCALISED website as a central hub for project information and updates, including blog articles, and social media posts, particular attention was given on the outlined future actions for disseminating results, which includes the development of policy briefs and the participation and organisation of two important events in June, such as the 7th European Climate Change Adaptation Conference 2025 (ECCA 2025) and the 2025 European Urban Resilience Forum to ensure continued outreach and engagement of the project’s finding.
Impact Assessment: Measuring LOCALISED’s Positive Change
Andrea Ancona presented some findings of the ongoing impact assessment activities, providing evidence of LOCALISED’s positive influence. Afterwards, a World Cafe activity was organised to collect ideas from partners regarding the current tools developed in the project and possible strategies and actions for fostering their promotion beyond the project’s lifespan. This collaborative moment encouraged open dialogue and the sharing of diverse perspectives, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the partners’ ideas for sustainable implementation of project outputs.
Exploitation and Sustainability: Ensuring LOCALISED’s Legacy
T6 also outlined plans to ensure the long-term sustainability and impact of the LOCALISED project. To gather additional input for the exploitation strategy, we have organised another interactive activity during the last day of the project meeting that focused on concrete actions to be implemented in the last months of the project.
It was a pleasure to connect with our partners. The LOCALISED project exceeded expectations, and we are enthusiastic about the possibility of future collaborations. Furthermore, we believe that our combined expertise can facilitate success in additional initiatives we may undertake.
