From 26 to 28 June 2024, Valencia, the European Green Capital for 2024, will host the 11th edition of the European Urban Resilience Forum (EURESFO). T6 Ecosystems, as a partner of the LOCALISED project, is part of the organising committee of this impactful event, which aims to foster collaboration, innovation and actionable strategies to strengthen urban resilience.

EURESFO 2024 will center around three primary thematic streams and a special additional stream, each addressing crucial elements of resilience, sustainable development, and recovery. These themes include Multilevel governance, cooperation and just transition, Water resilience and the blue economy, Transformation towards resilient, adaptive, and climate-neutral cities and regions, and Humanitarian response to post-conflict resilience and recovery. These themes provide a comprehensive platform for exploring practical actions, effective policies, and inclusive governance to enhance urban resilience.

Within the special thematic stream focusing on multi-level governance and cooperation, LOCALISED partners, including T6 Ecosystems are organising an important workshop within the special thematic stream focusing on multi-level governance and cooperation. The workshop, entitled “What kind of tools and practices do city and regional governments need to make urban resilience a reality?”, will take place on 27 June 2024. With this workshop, the LOCALISED project aims to address the specific challenges faced by small and medium-sized cities and regions in developing and implementing effective climate action plans. This session will also spotlight the LOCALISED Climate Action Strategiser, a cutting-edge tool designed to assist local and regional governments in building robust climate action strategies.

Moreover, T6 Ecosystems Katja Firus, Sara Dorato and Ilaria Leneris spearheading critical communication and dissemination activities. This includes the preparation of all promotional materials, including roll-ups, posters, flyers and more, to be presented at the marketplace.
